FBInfluence Review – What I Liked

What I like about FBInfluence is the incredible content that it offers. The authors were able to stuff important contents into 4 modules without overwhelming the users. It is arranged in a hierarchical manner, starting from the very basic topics to the most complex one.

I also like how Amy Porterfield presented the lessons. She did so in a step-by-step manner, but still managed to keep it straightforward and simple for the users to understand. She also focused more on the different strategies, which I believe is the most critical foundation of Facebook Marketing.

Aside from the modules, FBInfluence also includes bonuses that will strengthen your strategies and foundation to boost your success on Facebook even more.

FBInfluence Review – What I Didn’t Like

What I didn’t liked about FBInfluence is that you can’t download the training modules or buy FBInfluence outright on audio Cds or DVDs. I like to listen to this kind of cutting-edge Facebook marketing training while I’m driving, as I like to make good use of my time in between appointments at my clients’ offices, or while stuck in traffic. A Facebook page is incomplete without a few custom tabs. These are those little square icons that show up at the top of your fan page, to the right of the fan page title, just below your Timeline cover picture. These little graphic images are great to use for promoting your products and services by sending Facebook users, once they click on them, directly to your offers!

Building Your Brand with Custom Tabs

Custom tabs, which are also called Apps, help you engage with your fans, build your brand and gain more fans. You can also use a custom tab as a landing page to help convert people who visit your page into fans. Furthermore, you can also embed your web page or squeeze page on your custom tab to keep the visiting traffic inside your Facebook page. There are several ways to add custom tabs to your Facebook fan page. In this article, I will show you how to add a custom tab using the Static HTML/iFrame. Let’s get started:

Adding iFrame Tabs to Your Page

On the search bar of your Facebook page, type in “static HTML:iframe tabs”. You will then be routed to the application page. On the application page, click on “Add Static HTML to a Page”. You will then confirm if you want to add it to your page. A default tab will then be created on your page. Pretty easy right? The next step is to customize your tab.

Customizing Your iFrame Tabs

The tab you created will be automatically be named “Welcome”. To customize it, click on the pencil icon on the upper right corner of the thumbnail, then click “edit settings”. You can now rename your tab to your liking and change the thumbnail image. The thumbnail size should be 111 x 74 pixels or else it will be cropped. Just upload your image, and your tab appears! It is recommended that the image should contain a “call to action”, or an important instruction that engages your fans and tells them what you want them to do next. Also, use bright and attractive colors on your image so you can attract more attention. Remember, the thumbnail is very small so you need to make it noticeable.

Now Add Your Content

The next step is to insert your content. There are different ways of inserting your content. You can choose from HTML, Drag and Drop, Image, Contact, and Website. The choice is yours, depending on the content that you want to insert. Whatever option you choose, it will still keep the traffic inside Facebook. If you want to host contests or raffles, you can also make use of the custom tabs.

Your tab is now ready to go. If you want to add additional tabs, you can do so inside the tab editor of your first tab. Just click “Add Tabs” and another tab will be added. The same steps outlined above apply for customizing and adding additional content.
